Maestro
Both shape and inner workings of “Maestro” are inspired by the sailing world: on top, a propeller is moved by the wind to allow the self-lighting of the lamppost. The main shell is obtained from a nautical profile, to guarantee less air resistance and better material exploitation. An oblique cut separates the head from the stem and creates a functional projection for a better enlightenment. The glass core lightens the structure and outlines the silhouette by a light refraction effect. Thanks to the base, it is possible to choose the angle of the single lamppost to generate dynamism within the whole street lamps system. Maestro has been designed for a marine or lacustrine environment, although the possible use in urban environments is not excluded.
